All you have to do is jump onto the Rival facebook page and tell us in 25 words or less how your ‘lil Nipper has been making waves for their surf club
The winner and their parent/guardian will enjoy

Terms and Conditions
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the terms and conditions of entry into the Promotion.
Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
Entry must comply with these terms and conditions to be valid.
The Promotion commences on Facebook December 14th 2011 at 8.30 am (ADST) and all entries must be made online on www.facebook.com/rival93, before February 29th 2012 at 6:00 pm (ADST) (“Promotional Period”).
To be eligible to enter the Promotion, an entrant must become ‘like’ the RIVAL Facebook page they must then submit their entry on the Rival Facebook wall by posting in 25/50 words or less the achievements of their Nipper Candidate and how that candidate has contributed to Surf Life Saving.
An image(s) can also be posted along with the entry by following the prompts on facebook to share a photo or album. All images will be subject to the content guidelines stipulated by page administrator. All images can only be submitted if they have the permission of the subject or the subjects parent or guardian. Once the image is submitted, it becomes available for promotional purposes of this and similar campaigns for the next 12 months (from the date the winner is notified.)
Printing errors and/or quality assurance matters outside the control of the individual player will not be used by the Promoter as the sole basis for refusing to award a prize.
Entry is open to all registered Australian Junior Surf Life Saving participants (Nippers) aged between 6-14 years of age. As the is under 18 years of age the prize will be awarded to a parent or guardian and is subject to proof of identification (“ID”).
Proof of ID will be determined by producing: (a) a passport, birth certificate, Australian driver’s licence or other form of photographic ID in which the photograph is clear and undamaged and that is otherwise acceptable to the Promoter; or (b) Two forms of non-photographic ID that is valid and acceptable to the Promoter.
RIVAL may, in their sole discretion, waive or vary the ID requirements if the identity of an eligible entrant is otherwise determined to the satisfaction of RIVAL.
The prize draw will take place at 10.00 am (ADST) on 2nd March, 2012 at The Running Bare Australia Head Office, Unit 1 & 2, 26-34 Dunning Ave Rosebery, NSW 2018.The winner will be notified by Facebook response by a representative at RIVAL.
Major Draw Prizes: 1 Major Prize draw will be conducted. Major Prize Draw includes, Rival Summer Pack $250.00, Return economy airfares from nearest capital city to Gold Coast, QLD for 2 people. (1 person over 18 years, to accompany any child under 18 years), Accommodation Dual Share at Meriton Service Apartments for three nights, A 2 hour Beach Surf Training session with Ironman Ky Hurst and Ironwoman Hayley Bateup, $350.00 Cash for weekend expenses.Prize is valid until 30 July 2012.The total maximum prize pool is valued at up to a retail value of AU $3000.00 (inclusive of GST)
All components of the prize must be taken together. Flights/ Hotel Room are subject to availability and are not transferable. Travel Insurance/PLI is not included. Travel Prize does not include meals, spending money or transport to and from departure and arrival points unless already stipulated above. All other ancillary and travel costs are the winner’s responsibility.
Prize must be taken before the 30 July 2011. It cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. In the event a winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of prize. RIVAL representatives will accompany winners in the water during the surf session, at minimum for the first half of the session. Timing is also dependant on the availability of RIVAL personnel for the surfing session.
If the winners of the aforementioned prizes are under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian on behalf of the winner.
Maximum Major prize value per trip is $3000.00 (including GST), as at 30 November 2010. Any change in the value of the prize between publishing date and the date prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever any prize winner does not or is not able to take any prize at the time stipulated by RIVAL a second chance draw will be held at 10.00 am (AEDT) on 10th June 2012, at Running Bare Australia Head Office, Unit 1 & 2, 26-34 Dunning Ave, Rosebery, NSW 2018 and the winner will be notified by Facebook response on the same day.
The decision of the scrutiniser is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable.
It is a condition of accepting the prizes that the winner/s of the Promotion will be required to sign a legal release in a form reasonably determined by RIVAL in its absolute discretion. RIVAL and any companies related to RUNNING BARE AUSTRALIA, and RIVAL shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury and or death suffered or sustained in connection with any of the prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Employees of RUNNING BARE AUSTRALIA and their immediate family members and associated agencies and companies of RUNNING BARE AUSTRALIA are not eligible to win, and will be redrawn if necessary.
RIVAL reserves the right to request the winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, and proof of entry validity in the form of a valid receipt. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of RIVAL. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit their prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
Entries will not be entered into any database without the consent of the entrant and contact will only be made with the winners in relation to the receipt of their prize, unless otherwise agreed.
If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of RUNNING BARE AUSTRALIA which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, RUNNING BARE AUSTRALIA reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual whom RUNNING BARE AUSTRALIA has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct which may jeopardize the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. This includes tampering with or attempting to tamper with the entry process, interference with the rules or Terms and Conditions of the Promotion, the operation of the Promotion, violation of the rules or Terms and Conditions of the Promotion or deliberately undermining the administration, security or legitimate operation of the Promotion. RUNNING BARE AUSTRALIA reserves the right to seek damages and relief from all persons responsible for such acts and to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any direction given under any state permit regulation.
A disqualified entrant will not be entitled to any refund of any purchase made as per Condition 5 of these Terms and Conditions and will not be eligible for any prize/s.
In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, SLOMS may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state regulations.
All decisions regarding the interpretation of matters including rules and eligibility will be made by RUNNING BARE AUSTRALIA at their sole discretion. RUNNING BARE AUSTRALIA’s decision is final and RUNNING BARE AUSTRALIA will not enter into correspondence regarding the Promotion result.
